IV Nutrient Therapy Kincumber

Intravenous NAD+ delivered by a Registered Nurse on the Central Coast, NSW. All new clients commence at 250mg. Each session includes a post-infusion vitamin flush.

What is NAD+?

NAD+ stands for Nicotinamide Adenine Dinucleotide. It is a coenzyme found in every cell in your body. Without it, your cells cannot produce energy, repair DNA, or carry out basic functions. NAD+ levels decline naturally with age — and decline faster with poor sleep, alcohol, chronic stress, and illness. By your 40s, levels can be roughly half of what they were in your 20s. Intravenous delivery bypasses the digestive system, meaning NAD+ goes directly into the bloodstream rather than being broken down in the gut as oral supplements often are.

The Science, Simply

Energy Production

Your mitochondria use NAD+ as a key ingredient to convert food into usable energy (ATP). Less NAD+ means less efficient energy production at a cellular level.

Sirtuins

NAD+ activates a group of proteins called sirtuins, involved in regulating inflammation, DNA repair, and cellular stress responses. They require NAD+ to function.

DNA Repair

Your body’s DNA repair mechanisms — PARP enzymes — use NAD+ to fix daily DNA damage. When NAD+ is depleted, repair becomes less efficient over time.

The Decline

NAD+ levels fall progressively with age. Lifestyle factors including chronic stress, poor sleep, alcohol, and illness accelerate this decline.

What to Expect

Please allow at least 2 hours for your first NAD+ appointment.

Before you arrive

Eat a meal at least 90 minutes prior. Arrive well hydrated. Wear comfortable clothing and bring something to occupy yourself — you’ll be seated for the duration of your infusion.

Arrival and assessment

Your nurse will complete a pre-infusion health check and discuss your health history and current medications. All new clients commence at 250mg to assess individual tolerability.

During the infusion

NAD+ infusions are administered slowly. It is normal to experience sensations including chest tightness, nausea, warmth or flushing, or muscle cramping. These are not dangerous and resolve when the rate is slowed. Your nurse will adjust the rate to keep you as comfortable as possible.

The vitamin flush

After your NAD+ infusion you will receive a complimentary vitamin flush — B complex, magnesium, and amino acids — delivered intravenously. This is included with every NAD+ session at no additional cost.

After your session

Most clients feel well following their session and are able to drive home. Stay hydrated and take it easy for the remainder of the day.
